Retro Rhythm Review
Retro Rhythm Review -"The Motown hits of the 60s & 70s played by Winnipeg's finest from the 80s & 90s"
The RETRO RHYTHM REVIEW is the Motown music of the '60s and '70s played by Winnipeg's finest players from the '80s. They dare you not to dance.
Fronted by bassist, bandleader, and traffic-director jonny moonbeam (Daniel Jordan of Red Moon Road), the Retro Rhythm Review features the powerhouse “Satellite Sisters” — Heitha “Sol Satellite” Forsyth (Sol James), Rayannah “Rocket Satellite” Kroeker (Rayannah), and Jacqueline “Jax Satellite” Harding. They are accompanied by some of the finest Rhythm Section players on the Canadian music scene, topped off by the tightest horn section this side of Tower of Power. The RRR have been igniting dancefloors across Manitoba since the early 2000's and founding members have gone on to tour the world. Originally formed as the “Jr. Noodle Wave” band for Winnipeg icon and "Official Band Uncle" Rocki Rolletti (Peter Jordan), RRR continues the tradition of Winnipeg’s hottest players performing the coolest tunes.

Proximus 5
These “exquisite,” “spine-tingling” unaccompanied voices sing timeless, deeply moving a cappella music from across the ages. Their favourite genres include folk, contemporary covers, and contemplative classics, often featuring new arrangements.
After singing together in other ensembles for many years, they came together during the pandemic to keep some musical proximity ("proximus!"). Their performances celebrate the power of music to connect one another and soothe the soul. In their inaugural year, they performed three concerts to sold-out audiences in Winnipeg; this year, they’ve taken their show on the road to the US Midwest and are delighted to be performing in Montreal for Podium.
